  L'année 2023 fût exceptionnelle pour l'écoute et l'enregistrement du brame dans le Haut-Diois au pied du Vercors. La moisson sonore a été si abondante que j'ai décidé d'en éditer une compilation résumant les quinze jours durant lesquels ce phénomène sauvage du rut du Cerf elaphe (Cervus elaphus) c'est déroulé.
  C'est une véritable œuvre de création audio que je vous propose. Elle est réalisée avec la sélection des meilleurs moments que j'ai extrait de plus d'une centaine d'heures d'enregistrements. L'utilisation de boîtes à sons a été nécessaire pour obtenir la proximité et surtout ne pas déranger les animaux. Il aura fallut durant plusieurs soirées comprendre ce qui attirait les biches et les cerfs dans un champs précis, un champs de luzerne non fauché qui faisait le régal des biches. Au moins quatre cerfs ce sont retrouvés en conquérant des belles et j'ai encore cette vision impressionnante du dernier matin de brame où un cerf était allongé dans le chant en haletant. Il fini par se lever et monter presque en titubant vers son gîte de jour complètement épuisé et amaigri de ces jours de débauche d'énergie.
  2023 was an exceptional year for listening to and recording the rut in the Haut-Diois region at the foot of the Vercors mountains. The sound harvest was so abundant that I decided to publish a compilation summarizing the fortnight during which this wild phenomenon of the rut of the elaphe deer (Cervus elaphus) took place.
  This is a real work of audio creation that I'm offering you. It is a selection of the best moments I have extracted from over a hundred hours of recordings. The use of sound boxes was necessary to achieve proximity and, above all, to avoid disturbing the animals. Over the course of several evenings, we had to understand what attracted the hinds and stags to a particular field, a field of unmowed alfalfa that was a favourite haunt of the hinds. At least four stags ended up conquering the beauties, and I still have this impressive vision of the last morning of the slab where a stag was lying panting in the song. He eventually got up and staggered towards his day lodge, completely exhausted and emaciated from those days of energy. ... more
